Vision and Volunteers

The Compassionate Pearls were formed in July 2025 to provide an additional path for success to assist those in Tyler, Smith County, and smaller surrounding counties. The Compassionate Pearls strives to be a beacon of hope for our community. Through scholarships and other learning opportunities, we desire to transform lives and enable students to pursue their dreams and achieve economic independence. We plan to work with outreach programs for disadvantaged women, children, and the elderly to provide essential support and resources. We are a dedicated non-profit organization that genuinely cares for the welfare of Smith County residents. Our commitment to charitable events and fundraising efforts hope to inspire others to assist us in making a significant impact on our community.

Working in collaboration with the Zeta Kappa Zeta Chapter of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Inc, we plan to serve the community by participating in activities that enrich, educate, and enhance the city to provide greater opportunities to those in need. Our major goal is to provide academic scholarships to deserving seniors. We will work with area guidance counselors to distribute applications to all interested students. In these economic times, every penny matters. The more we can raise in a fiscal year, the more scholarships can be given. To achieve this feat, we will work on community fundraisers, write grants, and accept donations to distribute funds to deserving students.

We will also volunteer our time, efforts, and money to support community activities (parades, walks, shelters, etc…) to benefit communities in and around Smith County. We are excited to begin our endeavors to become a positive influence in Tyler and East Texas. We hope to form a partnership with you soon. Thanks. – The Pearls
